PATROLLING

I've been patrolling every afternoon. Sometimes its real hot but I go anyway. I usually go get in the creek to cool off. Mommy doesn't seem to like that. She gives me a bath every time I've been in the creek.

I haven't been feeling good lately. I don't want Mommy to worry but I think she knows. I hope I feel better soon.

MY BIRTHDAY!!

Today is my 10th birthday! I got to go to Petco amd Lowes. I had a good time. I also got to go out patrolling! Then Mommy gave me a bully stick to chew. I think I will take it easy for the rest of the evening!

SICK

I have been real sick. I hurt my neck when I was out patrolling. I couldn't tell Mommy, so I just suffered. It hurt so bad last week that I quit eating and stayed in my closet crate. Mommy got worried and took me to the vet. The vet drew alot of blood from me and took some urine. Then they Xrayed my belly. I had lost almost 6 lbs since last summer. The vet was worried b/c I have lost 15% of my body weight.

All of the blood, urine, and Xrays were normal. So the vet decided to treat me for pain. Mommy bought me a cheeseburger from McDonalds after the vet visit but I couldn't even eat it.

After Mommy started giving me pain meds, I felt better. Yesterday Mommy took me to have Acupuncture/Chiropractic therapy done. I felt so much better after my neck was realigned.

Now if the weather would just get better. I'm ready to start patrolling again!

EXPLORING

I like to go out each evening exploring. Mommy says I'm patrolling. I love spending time by myself. Mommy bought me a reflective collar and a flashing bone for my collar. I sometimes stay gone for hours. Mommy worries about me. Sometimes she gets in the car and drives around looking for me. I watch her from the woods. When I come home, I get a big drink and go to sleep!

HOME

Missy and I spent a week at Grandma and Grandad's. We stayed there while Mommy and Marley went to an agility trial. I had fun. Grandad took us lots of rides and to McDonald's. I missed Mommy though! :(

I was so happy to get back home and to see Mommy! I love my Mommy!

PATROL

I still go out on patrol. Now twice a nite. Sometimes I stay gone for 4 or 5 hours. Mommy doesn't know what I am doing. She says she's going to buy me a reflective collar so she can see me at night.

Mommy took me to Petco today. I spent lots of time exploring and sniffing the store. Do you know they have mice and birds there? I try to jump up on the cages but Mommy won't let me. She picks me up so I can see better. I love my special time with Mommy!!

MISSING MOMMY

Mommy is leaving for the weekend with Marley. Grandad and Grandma are coming over to get me and Missy. I don't want to be away from Mommy. She's my best friend!! She says its for 4 nites. That's tooooo long to be away from my Mommy!
